2064 is a significant year for Zambia and Zambians. On 24th October, 2064, the Zambians will be celebrating 100 years of political independence. A century of political independence must fittingly be celebrated in an environment and atmosphere of economic prosperity. Zambia has for 60 years now, grappled with reducing poverty levels especially at household level. Unfortunately, there has been little success in guaranting household food security, increasing access to disposable income and access to safe water and sanitation facilities for the majority of the citizens. Poverty in Zambia is experienced in an environment of abundant natural resources. Zambians must rally their efforts to.change this scenario. Build Zambia 2064 believes that change is possible and must begin with developing a culture of positivity, transitioning from the mentality of employment seeking to development of enterprises and reduction of the culture of dependency on government. Zambia must decide to attain 1st World and work to achieve it. We have what it takes.
